Top of the year

Standard

I love this time of year, it always seems to be a long time coming and then over before you know it.  The lighter nights are perfect for walking and gleaning inspirations, and that unique feel of long British twlights.

It’s been a busy time what with promoting PH, readings and getting very excited at next year’s first Worcester Literature Festival, my mind has been going into overdrive with ideas and then some.

I had a fantastic evening with friends last Friday, 11th June at Worcester Arts Workshop’s second Word & Sound, Sarah James was reading from her forthcoming first collection Into the Yell, which is out 10th July.  Prior to that Sarah and I called in at the Farrier’s Arms in Fish Street to say hello and drop off some posters for our Charity Poetry Reading and Open Mic in aid of Worcester Breast Unit on 18th August.  We also had a few publicity shots taken outside.

There’s also another reading coming up on Thursday 24th June, The Phonic Room have an event from 7.00pm at Boston Tea Party, in Broad Street, Worcester.  Entry is a bargain £1
